‘Angelicus Titanicus’

Compare the Earth Angel & the Angel of the North:

The obvious question that many people ask is, ‘how does the Earth Angel (or the Angel of the South) compare with the Angel of the North?

In November 2005 I used the ‘Earth Angel’ as the basis for ‘Angelicus Titanicus’ a proposed centenary memorial in 2012, to those who lost their lives in the ‘Titanic Disaster’ in 1912, at Southampton (or maybe Belfast).

Most of the Titanic’s Crew, who all perished, came from the Southampton.

‘Angelicus Titanicus’.

Angelic: adj. Like or relating to angels; sublime beauty grace & innocence; Latin: Angelicus from Gk; aggelikos. Angel-like.

Titanic: adj. of or like the Titans. Gigantic, Colossal. Gk: titanikos; the Latin form is
Titanicus; Huge Titan-like, or in this instance; of the ‘Titanic’.
